During the winter season you can use the whole public bus service free of charge with your guest-card, regardless whether you wish to go shopping or to the valley station of the cable-car.

The Nordic-Center in Abtenau with ski test area in the district Au and a 55 kms cross-country trail, partly with skating track, is a joy for trail walkers and cross-country skiers alike.
